Energy Industry Ombudsman of South Australia

One of our first clients was the Electricity Industry Ombudsman of South Australia. By now we have designed EIOSA's annual reports for eight years. We updated their corporate identity when they transformed into the Energy Industry Omudsman. All annual reports focussed on the role of the Ombudsman in South Australia.

The challenge was to use the same photos and the same illustrations each year, with the same aims, representing the role of EIOSA, yet somehow making it visually different from the years before. It was quite a challenge, we chose our favourite year to display below, we have the full range on display at the studio.

Eventually, when they were transformed from the Electricity to the Energy Industry Ombudsman we updated their logo and also changed the theme of the Annual Reports. We also had to give up the lovely illustrations we had commissioned for them at the beginning of our work with EIOSA. Instead, we decided to use photographs of the equipment used in the industries the Ombudsman represented and find faces in them. Bringing the idea of people and the importance of people in their work.
