If you want a serious education in anything under the sun, you are going to run into SATAC at some point. They have had the good sense and taste to be with us from the very conception of our studio. We have designed their TAFE books for the last 10 years and we still love it. We have designed their University books from time to time as well. We have always done the design and conceptualization of the covers for both publications, plus two other additional books. The "guides" as we refer to them after all this time, are large books containing all the courses offered at Tafe and University. They have many hundreds of courses listed with information on gaining entrance into each one. 

The design of the guides has always been walking a line between their two audiences, the teenagers straight out of school and the 'mature age' students, not all of them all that mature. We can't make the design alienating, but also we want it to be exciting and invigorating. They are about choices and making a new path in the world. We started with the traffic sign icon and concept and slowly evolved this idea. Only last year did we gently push it away and move to another path.
